Himeji Castle is a world heritage site and one of the few remaining original castles in Japan. I visited Himeji Castle on a beautiful, sunny day in mid April. Due to the timing, I was able to see some cherry blossoms fortunately! A great bonus! Also, my timing aligned with the Special Spring Exhibition for the interconnecting towers.
